Service Times

8:30am       Traditional prayer book service

The first service each Sunday is the traditional Anglican service of Holy Communion. We are committed to meeting together in friendship and fellowship, singing great hymns and faithful in prayer.

Many members are linked to the greater St Johns, Maroubra community through participation in weekly bible study groups, Monday friendship group, hospital and nursing home visiting.

10:00am       Family service

The family service has a huge range of people from the littlest kids to young parents to cherished older members. It has contemporary music and a whole lot of prayer. Above all, we love to hear what God has to say to us in the bible.

If you have kids, we have KAOS (Kids Activities on Sunday) with groups from crèche up to yr 6. We reckon your kids would love it! On the first Sunday of each month we have a BBQ lunch together after the service. Any week you can expect to be invited to someone's house for lunch. We'd love to see you there.

6:00pm       Church @6

Church @6 is a congregation predominantly of young workers and students which is open to all-comers. We meet each week at 6pm in the hall of St John's.

Our desire is to be authentic in following Jesus. We do this each week by praising God in song, hearing God speak to us through his Word, and interactively thinking through the response and application for our Christian lives.

The 'feel' of 6pm is very casual in keeping with the relaxed Eastern Suburbs vibe. So if you would like to join us or even just visit, you would be more than welcome!

The last Sunday of every month we have a meal together after church.:Sometimes we have a meal together in the Hall and sometimes we eat out in one of the many local restaurants...
